SIGN UP

Register as a SARL member on SLS:

  • Open SARL-SLS (Sim-racing League System).
  • On the left hand side menu, select Register new driver.
  • Read and accept the registration conditions.
  • Enter the following (at least):
    • Nickname - your SLS username (preferably make it the same as your forum username).
    • First Name & Last Name (please use your real names).
    • Email address - Important notifications, incl. server passwords for league races will be sent to this address.
    • Password (self explanatory).
    • Select the Email notifications checkbox (very important).
  • Click Save.
Congratulations...you are now registered on SLS.
Once an admin approves your registration, you'll be ready to log in using your username(nickname) and password.
Once you receive the email notification* that you have been accepted (you did tick the email notification box, right?) you can log in and join a season (instructions below).

* Please note: The system does not currently send successful registration confirmation emails. Please allow a day or so for the admins to accept your registration. Don't hesitate to contact an admin if you have issues with this process.

Sign up for a championship series/season:

To start racing in a championship series, you have to join a specific season for the series in which you want to compete.
NB: It is very important that you read the rules and regulations for a series before signing up.
  • Log in to SARL-SLS (Sim-racing League System) using the username and password registered above.
  • From the top menu, click on Drivers and then Edit Data.
  • On the Edit Driver Data screen, click on Seasons.
  • You will be presented with a list of all the current seasons that are accepting drivers.
  • Click Edit next to the season you wish to sign up for.
  • Complete the specified fields at the top:
    • Select one of the Allowed Car Classes from the dropdown.
    • Select the Car you wish to use from the dropdown. (Most series require you to stick with the same car throughout the season. Refer to the rules for that particular series).
    • Enter a Car Number (optional).
    • Enter the Nickname that you use in that sim. (NB: This must be identical to the name of your in-game driver profile(which must be your real name and surname as per SARL regulations) in order for your race results to be imported successfully.
  • Click Save
Congratulations...you are now registered to compete in the chosen series/season.
Repeat the process for any other series/seasons you wish to take part in.
